Lightning Swords of Death

Lightning Swords of Death is a Black/thrash metal band from Los Angeles, California, which was formed in 2003. The quartet are inspired by of Nordic influence featuring Endless Blizzard member lead guitarist Roskva.

In 2007, the band released their limited-edition Pre-Metal Blade via BlackMetal.com Records debut album “The Golden Plague”, which was well-received and inspired a tour of the west coast and north western blocks of the United States. The tour began sharing battleground with bands like Nachtmystium and High On Fire and concluded with the band opening for Danzig during the mighty Blackest Of The Black tour. A year after, their splits entitled “Lightning Swords of Death / Valdur”, which was released in 2008 with comrades Valdur features 8 tracks of crushing Nordic-influenced Black metal brutality, a joint release from Cult War Records and Bloody Mountain Records. It was only available for a limited time at performances during the country wide 2008 Blodhevn tour. Metal Maniacs called the band’s part a “heavy, bestial and brutal assault bringing to mind a young and hungry Thornspawn.” The band alongside with Septic Flesh, will co-headline Behemoth’s “Evangelia Amerika” tour in January of 2010.
