After The Burial

After the Burial (ATB) is a progressive death metal band formed in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota in 2004 by the brain child of Greg Erickson and Trent Hafdahl. In May of 2006 drummer Greg and the band split but appear to still maintain a good relationship. In August of 2006, the band replaced Greg. Mostly touring local Twincities gigs ATB has enjoyed a coastal tour. The group has recorded two full-length albums, “Forging A Future Self” in 2006, which was self produced and “Rareform” in 2008, which was released on Sumerian Records who they signed to in 2008. The band was on “The Summer Slaughter Tour” along with Necrophagist, Suffocation, Darkest Hour, and label mates Born Of Osiris. They have also played with Born of Osiris at the “Music As a Weapon 4 Tour”.

In September 2009, they joined the “Night of the Living Shred” tour along with All Shall Perish, Caliban, Suffokate and Born of Osiris. They will re release their Sumerian debut album Rareform with all new packaging, live footage and a complete newly rerecorded, remixed and remastered album with vocalist Anthony in 2009. In 2010, they were in “The Mosh Lives Tour” with other bands such as Emmure, Terror, Miss I May and Thick As Blood.
